Driving To Paso Robles

By Car From the Bay Area, take 101 south. We are about 2.5 hours from San Jose.

By Car From LA-metro, take the scenic route and drive up 101 (we are about 2 hours north of Santa Barbara) or take I-5 and head west into Paso on Hwy 46 (we are about 2.5 hours from Burbank).

By Car From The South Central Valley: head west on Hwy 46 from either 99 or I-5 into Paso. We are 2 hours from Bakersfield.

By Car From The North Central Valley: head southwest on Hwy 41 from either 99 or I-5, merge onto Hwy 46 into Paso. We are 2 hours from Fresno.

Flying To Paso Robles / San Luis Obispo

Private planes and jets – fly directly into Paso Robles (local airport info here).

Commercial (San Luis Obispo) – fly into San Luis Obispo. Paso is a 30-min drive to the north on Hwy 101. (SLO airport info here.)

Commercial (Burbank / San Jose) – Burbank and San Jose are 2.5 hours away by car. Southwest and many other airlines provide good service into each.

Commercial (Los Angles / San Francisco) – LAX and SFO are 3+ hours from Paso (often much longer, depending upon local traffic).

Ride Amtrak To Paso Robles / San Luis Obispo

The Coast Starlight stops in Paso every day – the ride from either the north or south is beautiful (especially in the spring). If you stay in downtown Paso, you really won’t need a car. We’ll be happy to pick you up at the station and take you to your hotel. (Amtrak info here.)
